Portland Area Homes Damaged By Historic Winter Storm

SERVPRO of North Portland / West Hawthorne helps to make it "Like it never even happened."

This Presidents day weekend we had one of the worst ice and wind storms we have seen for years. Thousands were without power for close to a week from many fallen trees due to heavy ice on branches and strong winds. 

Not only did all that damage cause a huge inconvenience for so many in the area but it also created a lot of property damage with limbs and trees falling on homes and businesses. 

SERVPRO of North Portland / West Hawthorne was working long hours to help all of our customers in need. We had several customers who had treed or branches land on their residential and commercial properties that broke pipes or let in snow and ice. In addition to damage from heavy winds, many experienced frozen pipes due to sustained freezing temperatures.
