Repairs to a West Hawthorne Condo from Flood

SERVPRO of North Portland/West Hawthorne  was called repair a unit that had been affected by a water loss. The before picture shows the flood cut, and the after shows the repaired wall.

What is a flood cut, you may ask? A flood cut is when a restoration company has to cut out the drywall from your property.  The cut is made 12-18 inches above where the flood damage stopped, hence the name flood cut.  It is done so that drywall can be removed and address any moisture issues behind the actual wall.
